OUR STORY

Overview

The Trust is involved in several short- and long-term projects that are reflective of the mandate of the Trust on a larger scale.

The trust has been seeking existing and proven educational tools to assist the national school on the educational aspects as that is at the heart of the exemption status and mandate of the Trust among other activities.

Understanding the amount of time required to identify and pursue such initiatives, the trustees approved short-term projects that are within the mandate to ensure that the Trust continues to spend its funds accordingly.

The projects pursued by the Trust thus far include the following:

  • Education Enhancement: Supporting schools to improve resources and opportunities for students.

  • Community Relief: Offering financial relief and essential supplies to communities affected by crises like COVID-19.

  • Arts Mentorship: Nurturing emerging talent through professional arts mentorship programs.

  • Digital Learning Access: Providing disadvantaged learners access to quality education through e-learning initiatives.

  • Youth Sports Engagement: Sponsoring sports tournaments to engage and empower youth in local communities.

  • Waste Management Centre: Assisting waste pickers and promoting recycling initiatives for community betterment.
